Reviews — and the proof you can check without us

Every site in this industry looks the same: a wall of five-star reviews with no names, no dates and no projects attached. We understand why you don't believe them — we wouldn't either. So this page starts with the reviews we actually have, and then spends the rest of its length on things you can verify yourself without taking our word for anything.

1 · What clients said

Three sentences we did not write

Each was said by a client after handover. We did not tidy the wording or cut anything out of it, including the parts that sound awkwardly loud. The attribution is a district or a city only: these people bought a private backyard, not an advertising slot.

A GrillKing outdoor kitchen in Almaty: stainless run, grill, smoker, marble splashback

“You’re truly not going to find another company like this in all of Central Asia. No one is going to make you such a premium kitchen and take care of you so well.”

Client · Almaty · Outdoor kitchen
A GrillKing kitchen at Shymbulak: granite bar counter, heat lamps, cooktop

“You don’t think like we do. In your mind lives fantasy, and you bring this fantasy to life.”

Client · Shymbulak · Outdoor kitchen
A GrillKing outdoor kitchen in Astana under a pergola with amber glazing

“We can't work with any other company. It’s so hard to find people to trust — and when we do, we can’t lose them.”

Client · Astana · Repeat client
2 · Honest about the number

Why there are three reviews here, not two hundred

Because we don't have two hundred, and we aren't going to invent them. Three reasons, all boring and all true.

Dozens of projects a year, not thousands

A kitchen is designed, welded and installed for one specific backyard. A company that has honestly completed 2,000 projects works from a catalog of standard modules — a different business, and legitimately one with more reviews.

The client bought a backyard, not a shop window

Most of our clients don't want their surname and their plot on the internet. We ask permission and we take no for an answer. Hence attribution by district.

A review with no date and no project isn't a review

We don't put up text that can't be tied to a real person and a real job. That costs us in the moment and saves us in three years.

What this means for you

If you want a company with 200 reviews on its site, take one — there are several in Almaty and the volume itself isn't a lie. If what matters more is seeing the work in person and talking to someone who has a similar kitchen standing in their backyard, that's us, and we'll give you that contact.

3 · Verifiable

Proof that doesn't require believing us

9delivered kitchens with published prices — 4.85M to 32.2M ₸ turnkey
4 yearson the showroom terrace in birch and ash — and three years on the kitchen beside it
9guarantees, each a clause in the contract rather than a line on a website
14 daysto return the kitchen for 100% of the price, no justification required

Not one of those four figures depends on whether you believed the reviews. The delivered project prices are published item by item. The terrace is in the showroom and its age shows in the material. The guarantees are written out in full, limits included. The refund is contract clause 2.4, which you read before you sign.

A guarantee is the only review a company writes about itself and then has to defend in court.

4 · Where we're off this site

Platforms we don't control

A review on our own site was written by us — in the sense of layout, order and selection. A review on someone else's platform is one we can't remove, which is exactly why it carries more weight.

5 · Do it yourself

How to check us in one day

Our production floor is in Almaty. The check takes half a day and costs you nothing.

Come to the production floor

Almaty. The thermal chamber running at 180–215 °C, the full cycle from log to board. Companies that import their material can't show you this — not because they are bad, but because there is no factory.

Walk the four-year-old terrace

Barefoot, in birch and ash, on a summer afternoon, so you learn how hot it gets. Beside it stands an outdoor kitchen that's three years old — the same test for the steel, the granite and the fronts. These are the tests a photograph can't fake.

Ask for a client's contact

Similar budget, similar backyard. We'll ask their permission and pass the contact on — or tell you plainly that they declined.

Read where we lose

We publish a downsides page and eight comparisons, every one of which leads with the alternative. Compare that with what the others write on the subject.

In short, as questions
Why does GrillKing have so few reviews on its site?

Because we publish only what clients actually said, and only with their permission. We complete dozens of projects a year rather than thousands, and most clients don't want their backyard on the internet. Instead of a review count we offer things you can check: nine delivered kitchens with prices, a four-year-old terrace in the showroom, nine guarantees written as contract clauses, and an open production floor.

Why are the reviews signed with a district instead of a name?

Our clients bought a private backyard, not an advertising slot. We ask permission to publish and we accept refusal. A district or city is the most that most of them agreed to. Client names and faces never appear on the site.

Can I speak to one of your previous clients?

Yes. Tell us the budget and the type of project, we'll find a comparable delivered job, ask that client's permission and pass on the contact. If they decline we'll say so rather than substitute somebody else.

Do you have a rating on an independent platform?

GrillKing has a 2GIS listing and a feed of delivered projects on Instagram. We publish a rating on this site only with a link to the platform where it can be checked, and only with the figures standing there today. A rating with no verifiable source is the same thing as an invented review.

What happens if I don't like the kitchen?

Within 14 days of handover we remove the kitchen and refund 100% of the price, no justification required. That's clause 2.4 of the contract, not a promise on a website. Separately, the render-match guarantee means the sign-off isn't signed until the kitchen matches the approved design.

The best review is somebody else's terrace under your feet

Come to the showroom: a terrace four years old, species and finish samples, and kitchens in the flesh. Before any decision and with no obligation.
