When people compare terrace quotes, they compare the price of the board. But the board is roughly a third of what you end up paying, and almost never the part that ruins the terrace four years later. Here are all five components, honestly, in order.
The board itself: species, grade, width. From 31,600 ₸/m² for thermo-pine to 86,490 ₸/m² for thermo-oak; thermo-karagach is 55,000 ₸/m² in Natur and 67,500 ₸/m² in Elite. The full list is in the table above.
Thermowood doesn't rot, but it fades under UV. Oil is what holds the color. You have four routes here, and they differ in both price and consequence.
What everything stands on, and the most underestimated line. The spread here is wider than on timber — and this is where the economising happens that has a terrace sagging a few years later.
Clips, screws, bolts. A line you can barely see in a quote — a fraction of a per cent of the total. And the first thing to rust if it is ordinary steel: the board is fine, but there is nothing sound holding it down.
The crew's work: preparing the base, setting levels, layout, cutting, hidden fixings, oiling the cut ends on site. With the DeckKing system, installation sits inside the frame price.
An unmaintained terrace doesn't fall apart — it silvers and loses depth of color over two or three seasons. Annual re-oiling is the reason one terrace still looks like its handover photograph six years on, and another looks like gray decking.

The difference between "buy the oil" and Legacy isn't a difference in oil. The No Warp, No Split guarantee exists on every karagach project, but the program sets its term: no program 1 year, Signature 2 years, Legacy 6 years. It can't be added retrospectively. Box section from the bazaar, cut and welded on site, then paint out of a tin. It is cheap, it is fast, and with a careful crew it looks fine for the first few seasons. We don't think this is a swindle: for a low deck you're willing to redo in five years it is a working solution and honestly worth its money.

Five components are five places where something can go wrong, and five separate contractors if you assemble a terrace piece by piece. The DeckKing system exists precisely so that you make two decisions instead of five.
Thermo-karagach, ash, oak, birch, pine. Color, grain, budget — the choice here really is yours, and we show you samples in the flesh.
Color Care, Signature or Legacy. This sets how long the terrace holds its color and how many years the written geometry guarantee runs.
Everything else — the frame, the powder coating, the stainless fixings, installation, factory oiling, the scheduled visits, the re-levelling and the guarantees — is included and is our responsibility. One contract and one company accountable instead of five.
A client pays for three things: the frame, the timber and the care program. The DeckKing steel frame is 110,000 ₸/m² with installation already included, and it is never discounted because it is the load-bearing structure. Timber is costed separately: thermo-pine from 31,600 ₸, thermo-karagach Natur 55,000 ₸, Elite 67,500 ₸, thermo-ash Elite 66,365–75,670 ₸. The separate 25,000 ₸/m² rate applies in one case only — when we lay our boards or cladding onto somebody else's substructure.
On the Elite bundle, 193,500 ₸/m² — 9,675,000 ₸ for 50 m². Inside that: the DeckKing steel frame installed at 110,000 ₸/m², thermo-karagach Elite boards at 67,500 ₸/m², and the six-year Legacy care program at 16,000 ₸/m² (its full value is 35,000 ₸/m²). Total package value is 300,000 ₸/m².
Area is the main multiplier. Then the substructure: thermo-beam or the DeckKing steel frame. Then the complexity of the millwork — steps, abutments, hidden fixings, lighting. And the care program, which sets the term of the No Warp, No Split guarantee: 2 or 6 years.

The frame and the fixings cost less than the boards but decide whether the terrace lasts ten years: an ordinary frame is cut and welded on site and painted with a brush, and within a few years it sags and rusts. Then there is annual re-oiling, which is what holds the color.
In three ways. Members are cut and powder coated in the workshop rather than welded and brush-painted on site, so there is no bare metal at the cuts and welds. The fixings are stainless steel, because connections rust first and fail first. And the system adjusts for height, so after foundation settlement or an earthquake it is brought back to level by adjustment rather than rebuilding. The price is 110,000 ₸/m² with installation, and the No Sag, No Break guarantee runs 6 years.
Yes. DeckKing is bolted together, so the system can be dismantled and reassembled — elsewhere on the plot, or at a new address if you move house. A welded frame can't do this: removing it means cutting it apart. Dismantling and reassembly are costed separately, but the frame itself doesn't have to be bought again.
